TCZ INSTALLED ALPHA TOOL IN KOREA AND COMMENCED CUSTOMER DEMONSTRATIONS

TCZ completed installing its alpha tool in Korea and successfully started customer demonstrations. The proof-of-principle tool has been designed to provide early validation of TCZ's unique Thin Beam Technology and TCZ's patented Thin Beam Directional X-tallization (TDX) process. TDX provides a manufacturing solution for LTPS material with extremely low surface roughness and very high electron mobility, and allows for scaling of gate oxide thickness and increased levels of drive electronics integration. By operating the alpha tool in Asia, TCZ establishes proximity to the FPD market and commits to providing close support to prospective users.
