PROCESS ENGINEER
SUMMARY:
This position, based in Singapore reports directly to the Operations Manager. This Engineer is responsible for the Integration work of TCZ's system which include safety, cost, quality, delivery, documentation and all relevant requirement to prepare for TCZ production and installation. The candidate will also need to provide onsite field service support through the performance of installations, upgrades, repairs and maintenance of complex capital equipment and systems.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Develop and maintain product delivery schedule, cost and quality of systems integration
- Closely work with the project management teams at TCZ, Cymer, Carl Zeiss SMT - LO to ensure realistic, detailed schedules that meet TCZs business.
- Develop and implement procedures and processes to insure quality of all procured goods and services
- Assist in planning and directing the layout of equipment, workflow, assembly methods, and facilities utilization
- Estimates Integration cost, determines time standards, and makes recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines
- Analyzes, diagnoses and troubleshoots equipment problems via telephone or at customer site.
- Performs installation, repair, retrofits, upgrades and preventive maintenance on equipment installed at customer sites.
- Regularly provides leadership; may serve as site leader for supplier or customer.
- Provides feedback for improvement.
- Maintain and manage an assigned installation equipment base. This includes providing primary support, forecasting, conducting customer support meetings and ensuring regular communication with the customer.

- Degree in engineering, Minimum 3 years in optics and/or semiconductor manufacturing equipment experience is required.
- Strong technical knowledge in the following areas: Equipment Manufacturing, Maintains/Repair/Manufacture Laser or Optics System or Module
- Requires very strong communication skills and good interpersonal skills
- Experience working with or leading multifunctional teams
- Strong analytical skills and problem solving required
- Comfortable working in a high stress environment subject to changes on short notice
- Must have a high level of initiative and experience working with minimum supervision
- Cultural awareness and sensitivity in working both with European, US and Asian cultures
- Ability to work closely with Senior Executives of Multiple companies
- Requires a high level of judgement and ability to confidentially handle sensitive information
- Excellent customer service skills, with an advanced understanding of customer relationship building.
- Require to travel frequently.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Fluency in English is required. Fluency in Korean, Japanese, Mandarin or German is helpful.
